Client guides — write it once, use it everywhere

Write a guide once — how to prepare for a first class, what a private session includes — with formatting, pictures and your own branding, then reuse it across what you sell.

You answer the same questions every week. What should I bring? How early should
I arrive? What actually happens in a private session? Until now the answer
lived in a dozen places — a paragraph in one email, a note in another, and the
rest in your team's heads.

**Client guides** give that answer one home. Write it once, and reuse it.

## What you can do now

Go to **Settings → Client emails & reminders → Client guides**.

- **Write a guide** with proper formatting — headings, paragraphs, links,
buttons and two-column layouts — the same editor you already use elsewhere.
- **Add pictures directly.** Upload a photo from your computer and we resize it
for email automatically. No more hunting for somewhere to host an image and
  pasting in a link.
- **It looks like you.** Guides go out with your logo, your colours and your
footer, exactly like your other messages. If you run more than one brand, you
can point a guide at the right one.
- **Label who it's for** — a brand, a location, particular class types — so the
right guide is easy to find later.
- **See it before anyone else does.** The preview is the real thing: it is
produced by the same machinery that sends the email, so what you see is what
your client gets. You can also send yourself a test.
- **Reuse and tidy up.** Duplicate a guide to make a variation, and archive the
ones you're not using without losing them.

## A couple of examples

- *How to prepare for your first hot-yoga class* — what to bring, how early to
arrive, what the room is like.
- *What your private session includes* — how long it runs, who'll be there,
  what happens if plans change.

## What's coming next

Right now you write and keep your guides. In the next update you'll be able to
**attach** them — to a class type, a pass, a course, an offer or a private
session — and have them **send themselves** at the right moment: when someone
books, a few days before their first visit, right after they buy.

Writing them now means they'll be ready the day that switch arrives.
